Young At Art:
Offering Children a Creative Way to Experience the World.
The vision of the Young at Art project matched one of the Foundation’s primary visions as well “to focus on the way children experience the world”. The 55,000 square-foot museum includes four exhibit areas for 2D visual arts, ceramics, 3D graphics and photography and their latest, STOMP, a creative fusion of art and music. STOMP’s interactive educational experience encourages children and their families to find music in every day ordinary items not typically considered musical instruments while at the same time engaging in hands-on artistic, historical, multicultural, environmental and social experiences. It also boasts a library, teen center, café, conference areas and a reading room.
As one of YAA’s strongest supporters, the Leo Goodwin Foundation is honored to have their name as part of the museum’s “STOMP Wall of Fame”.
