Fort Lauderdale, FL – The CDTC Sunflower Circle of Friends is hosting its 6th Annual Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch to benefit Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) on Saturday, May 10th. Proceeds from the event will benefit CDTC’s Primary Care Clinic, which cares for more than 2,800 children with chronic illnesses and disabilities as well as their siblings. Over the past five years, this dedicated group of volunteers has been able to raise over $110,000 to assist CDTC in caring for the medical needs of these children.

The CDTC Sunflower Circle of Friends created this event as a way to honor mothers of patients that receive services at the Center. The event is a wonderful opportunity for the entire family to celebrate mothers, grandmothers, and caretakers the day before Mother’s Day.
“This brunch is a great way to honor the special women in your life, as well as those mothers who work tirelessly to care for their children with special health care needs,” said Penny Vernon, Chair of the Mother’s Day Brunch.

This year, the family friendly brunch will be held in the Panorama Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six. The event features a delicious buffet brunch, opportunities for fabulous raffle baskets and auction items as well as musical entertainment by talented acoustic jazz guitarist, Jorge Garcia accompanied by Julie Silvera. Tickets are available HERE.
